Led by certified instructor and Ju-Jitsu Master Black Belt (multiple times over), Tim Moss, Sr., ROCC Ju-Jitsu gives men, women, and older children an opportunity to practice the “gentle” martial art. Focused on grappling, lock, and throw techniques, ROCC Ju-Jitsu provides an intensive cardio workout, an opportunity to improve skills, and the demonstration of various self-defense moves. All experience levels are welcome, including beginners. Training begins with a light devotional, prayer, and a time of prescribed stretching. Ju Jitsu meets in the ROCC Gym on Tuesday evenings, from 6:45–8:30 pm. We usually meet during the school year, though we will be taking a break during the 2018 winter/spring session.
